Are you a beginning, intermediate, or advanced fly caster?
(I'll make a wild guess that you are! Ha Ha). Then this fly casting clinic is for you!!!
Our instructors will be Gary and Wanda Taylor from Tennessee. Both are Master Certified Fly Casting Instructors - the highest certification from the IFFF. In fact, Wanda was the first woman worldwide to earn the Master Certification. They have national and international acclaim as fly casting instructors for fresh and salt water and they actively teach all over the U.S. Their simple approach to teaching fly casting is easily understood and easy to implement at beginning to advanced casting levels. Also importantly, they love fly casting and fly fishing.
Their casting mentors were several of the teaching greats - Joan Wulff, Mel Krieger, Lefty Kreh and Flip Pallot. They are on the pro staffs for Temple Fork Outfitters, Patagonia, Chota Outdoor Gear, Aqua Design, Maven Fly, and Stealth Craft Drift Boats.
Whether you want to learn the basics of fly casting, tune up or troubleshoot your casting, or learn some new aspects of casting and take your casting to the next level, Wanda and Gary are for you. Look at it this way, if you learn to cast effectively, each one of your fly rods will double in value!
Don't delay in signing up because the class will be limited to 16 students with preference going to GSF members. Class fee is $35.
