.
Presented by the Golden State Flycasters

Hi folks,
I hope your summer is going well.
If you want to learn how to fly fish the surf, now's your chance! Steve Piper and a couple of guest experts, including one
on sight fishing for the ghost of the surf,
will lead you through the ins and outs of fly fishing
the surf on
Wednesday, August 20
,
6:30-9 pm
in Solana Beach, at La Colonia Park.
Please RSVP to Steve Piper (
scpiper2@gmail.com
) so that I can (might) have a handout for you. This class is free but please be sure to arrive promptly and please let me know if you can or can't attend.
Rigging, magic flies, fish species, what to carry, tides, where, when and how to fish - you'll hear about it all. We'll use the informal classroom format that worked so well
for our earlier classes on San Diego Bay and fishing the Owens.
This class is timed to give you info you need to participate/fish in GSF's annual BBB (Breakers, Beans and Breakfast) event on
Saturday, Aug. 30
if you like. See the GSF website
calendar for more info on the BBB event.
For more info or questions, and to RSVP, contact Steve Piper,
