Each year this has been a very fun trip with allot of early season trout both in the Brown and Rainbow variety. There is plenty of stream action in this portion of the Eastern Sierras, Hot Creek, Upper Owens, McGee Creek, not to mention the plentiful trout on Convict Lake and Lake Crowley. Already the fish reports coming in from the Eastern Sierras are outstanding with plenty of water flow as the snow melt has been steady but regulated with temperatures that remain cool. For more up to date information please visit www.sierradrifters.com/fish.html.
This year we will be going 2 weeks after the annual trout season opening
on Apr. 31st.
We will be staying at Convict Lake where the scenery is outstanding.
