• Cost: $375.00 per student  (we will take up to 10 students)
• Day 1 -- 5 hr classroom session June 21 @ the san diego Fly Shop
• Day 2 -- full day on the water june 22  (meet at dana landing 06:30)
• lunch, tackle ,flies and big fish provided!
• Fun tournament on Sunday w/prizes and bragging rights!

Day 1 -- Classroom session to learn the do’s and don’t’s of fly fishing for shark.  Conway will cover a wide range of topics including rod, reel, line, and other equipment, flies, where and when to fish, boat handling, safety, and fighting fish.  He liberally sprinkles his presentation with fish stories.

Day 2 -- Conway has conceived this as a way to introduce anglers to techniques for fly fishing for large game fish without the accompanying huge price tag. Fishing for the amazing shortfin mako shark.  You will find that this is an extraordinary sport fish – fast moving, hard pulling, hefty (to more than 600 lbs), with a penchant for aerial acrobatics. We will be using 12, and 14 weight outfits
